The late Dr. Virgil Strang described chiropractic quite nicely, and I offer his words here:

“Chiropractic is that clinical science that is based upon a law of biology – that is born in living things the ability to be healthy. And secondly draws on the theory of physiology that there is a system in the body, the nervous system by name, that controls and coordinates all other organs and structures and relates the organism to its environment. Chiropractic clinical science hypothesizes the association between that system and health in the body.
